I have recently purchased a domain and hosting plan with mochahost by reading some reviews on the net and the features that they have mentioned on their site. After that slowly started realizing that I have made a big mistake by purchasing with mochahost.com. I wanted to have a new domain name & hence want to redirect to this newly purchased domain. When I talk to online support, I was informed that it is possible. When contacted through mail, support said that it is not possible with my current hosting plan and hence I should upgrade to another plan in order to have this feature, but still they did not provide me other details that I have asked. Hence, I have been following up through mails in vain. So, again when contacted online support they said that even if I upgrade also they do not support redirection/forwarding. I am not sure who is right here. But, anyway I have dropped to upgrade in order to avoid any risk and when I asked if I can achieve the functionality by purchasing domain with another registrar, the online support person said initially said yes, and later very rudely said that "how many times I have to tell you it is not possible with mochahost". And if you read their plans they say : Unlimited Auto responders & Vacation messages and Unlimited Aliases & Mail Forwarding. But, learned that auto responder and mail forwarding do not work together and moreover, you do not have control on setting up auto responder though you see the fancy options in your account and you spend time configuring auto responders and mail forwarding just to realize that they do not work. And when I contacted support, they enabled auto responder manually and said that auto responder and mail forwarding do not work together at a time. And to my surprise, there were no auto responders shown in my account now, and when I configured a new auto responder, I see that my auto responder is coming instead of my new one. This means that I need to always send a trouble ticket, to change my auto responder or disable it when required. This is a very horrible experience that I have with mochahost and not sure how many such drawbacks I have to face going forward. Now, I have dropped my plans to purchase any further plan with mochahost.

Mocha Host is just a Scam. They deactivated my account after getting paid in full for 3 years in advance. The reason they gave me was that I'm using the Business account for Resale. In fact all the domains that I had hosted with them are owned by me and they don't even have the commonsense to check the Whois database to see who owns the domains. I tried explaining and reasoning with them but there is no meaning in reasoning with someone who's primary intentions are to SCAM the customers. My Legal department will be filing a law suite against MochaHost. Since I'm not alone here we are also looking into filling or amending the case later as a class action law suite. I'll post further contact information if it turns into a class action law suite. The customer service is dumb, rude and pain in the rear. I never had a chance to communicate with anyone with commonsense. Their Customer support is terrible. Anyone saying good about their support are either mochahost employees or lying. Performance was ok at the beginning and gradually went down the drain. In plain words, the performance was terrible. Their adon features may look attractive, but getting them to work and getting support from MochaHost may feel like pulling a teeth.

They have a bait and switch plan. Signed for a two year business plan which included free domain registration for two years. After the first year, the domain stopped working. Contacted them, and they said because I have not used it enough (i’m building the site part time), my domain was on hold and I would have to pay between $100 to $200 to re-activate. They understood I pre-paid for two years which included the domain, but it did not matter. After many many subsequent messages (most with no replies), I was stuck. They would also not provide a phone number or address to their legal department. A year later (two years total), they tried to charge my credit card for renewal. What! they lost my domain name, and I cannot access their system and they want a renewal? Go elsewhere.

If you value your business and uptime DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT give these people your business. They are hands down the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and I've worked with some bad ones. They claim 24/7 service but all that is is an online chat that just feeds you scripted answers and claims they will "escalate the issue" which obviously never happens. As I write this, I have been waiting 2 days for someone to respond to me. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE A DIME. I have never regretted giving a company my business as much as I regret this decision. I would like everyone to know that I have absolutely no bias. I am not in the hosting industry or anything like that. I am a website owner and that is my business. I made the mistake of trusting this company to do the right thing and provide me with a tiny bit of support and over 24 hours later, they still haven't even attempted to assist me. Mochahost, if you do read this please take what I say into consideration as I know that there are other people who are just as frustrated as I am.

MOCHAHOST.COM REVIEW, COMPLAINT & WARNING! Mochahost prices are cheap but there is a reason which they will force you to upgrade and pay a lot more than if you were to go to another webhosting that costed a little more in the first place. All the statements below are true. 1. FALSE ADVERTISING - They claim they offer unlimited domains, unlimited space and unimited bandwidth. But they will 2. SUSPEND YOUR ACCOUNT ANYTIME at will without warning and try to 3. FORCE YOU TO UPGRADE your account. They do not give you unlimited bandwidth nor unlimited storage. This is false advertising which there should be a class action lawsuit against mochahost.com. Luring you to buy their cheap plans is a webhosting scam and trick which Mocahost uses to later try to force you to upgrade by suspending your account if you do not. 4. NOT HELPFUL online support - The online tech support is completely useless and they will terminate the chat as fast as they can and just tell you to write a support ticket. 5. NO PHONE. You cannot call them. This is one big warning sign for you. If you request they call you, you might have to wait a long time if they even call you back. 6. NOT FRIENDLY customer tech support. They are only friendly before you sign up. 7. Mochahost DOES NOT ADMIT FAULT. No matter how you prove there is a problem with the server, they will try their best to tell you nothing is wrong. Perhaps this is their way to avoid any lawsuit or compensation for server down time and problems. They will find ways to blame your codes or anything possible so that they can avoid the responsibility. When you prove it to them, they will still not admit error, then tell you they cannot help you and ask you to write a support ticket. Complaints to Mochahost.com will only make them suspend your account which they will make up a reason. If you want an honest webhost, this isn't it. In fact, this is one of the least honest host and the worst web hosting company we have dealt with in the past 10 years. 8. Their SERVERS ARE NOT STABLE. The server has stalling issues or downtime about one time every two weeks on average. 9. Mochahost just DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS. If you want to try them out, sign up for a short time period and you'll know exactly why Mochahost gets the most complaints of all web hosting companies. 10. CHECK THE BBB (Better Business Bureau Email: info@bbbsilicon.org) to read their negative web hosting reviews and also make a complaint against Mochahost. They have plenty of complaints. Don't go with them because you think they are cheap. That is a big mistake. If you file a complaint against Mochahost with the BBB, type in Mochahost for their searched name. 11. SUE MOCHAHOST for their mistreatment and for being unethical. You can email elawcase@gmail.com and the more complaints the better for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST MOCHAHOST.COM.
